The OSKA future trends overview “Work and Skills 2035” is based on input from global foresight experts, studies and analyses by think tanks, and contributions from experts of the Estonian Qualifications Authority. A broader understanding of trends and their context is a prerequisite for identifying both global and local challenges, setting shared goals, and making informed decisions.
The overview consists of nine interrelated chapters:
• Trends that create the context and need to be understood
• Short- and long-term global risks
• Scenarios for the future of work and employment
• Leadership in a turbulent world
• The self-managing individual, professional and transversal skills, and young people’s expectations
• The nature of future work and its challenges
• Artificial intelligence in the labour market and preparation for it
• Acting and coping in a technology-centred world
• Health as a pillar of life and work
The future trends overview is not a collection of ready-made answers or a handbook, but an invitation to dialogue and strategic reflection.
