The OSKA study of the sector of production of chemicals, rubber, plastic and construction materials was completed in the spring of 2017.
The production of chemicals, rubber, plastic and construction materials is an important sector related to resources and smart specialisation where the state contributes significantly to research and development activities. The prognosis focuses on holistic overview of the sector, while the need for labour force is analysed by major occupational groups of the sub-sectors – manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, chemicals and chemical products, basic pharmaceutical products, rubber and plastic products and other non-metallic mineral products. The industrial engineers and production managers as well as machine operators, locksmiths and other professions important for the development and added value of companies are under survey.
